Who We Fund

Based on funding recommendations made by the Child Abuse Prevention Council to the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors, more than $1 million will be distributed to eight local agencies providing child abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment services in English, Spanish and Vietnamese. The funding recommendations, made possible through the Child Abuse Prevention, Intervention and Treatment Program (CAPIT) and County Children's Trust Fund (CTF) were approved by the Board of Supervisors in June 2021 and will be administered and monitored by the Social Services Agency, the fiscal agent of the Child Abuse Prevention Council.

The Allocations Committee of the Child Abuse Prevention Council meets regularly to review the performance of the all funded programs.
